Updating Mutter
Mutter updates itself automatically; here’s how to check manually.
Mutter updates itself in the background and installs the latest version automatically. Updates are cryptographically verified before they’re applied.
Check manually
Click the menu-bar M icon and choose Check for Updates… (also available in the Mutter app menu). If a newer version exists, Mutter downloads and installs it, then relaunches.
After a major update, if dictation seems to stop hearing you or pasting, do the one-time permission reset in Dictation stopped working after an update.
